Microsoft is introducing a new feature to increase account security in the new version of Windows 11. With the Windows 11 24H2 version, users will receive additional security notifications so that they do not lose access to their Microsoft accounts. This innovation has already excited many users.
Windows 11 will increase Microsoft account security
With the new system, a warning message will be displayed in the Start menu of Windows 11 saying “Never lose access. Add a recovery phone number to make sure you can always access your account.” This notification will be for users who do not have a second email or recovery phone number in their Microsoft accounts.

Microsoft considers the addition of this information as an important step for users to regain access in case they forget their passwords or their accounts are locked for any reason. It is expected that many different companies will integrate this innovation into their own systems in the near future.
Windows 11’s new security feature was offered to test users in the Dev and Beta channels with the KB5053660 update. It is not yet certain when the update will be distributed to all users, but Microsoft is expected to offer this feature to all Windows 11 users in 2025.
However, considering that the company is increasingly prioritizing user security, it seems quite possible that this innovation will be offered much earlier than expected.
