Elon Musk’s AI company xAI announced its new AI model, Grok 3, and just hours later, X significantly increased the price of its top-tier subscription plan, Premium+. According to the new pricing, the monthly subscription fee for the Premium+ plan in the U.S. has risen to $50, while the annual subscription fee has increased to $350.
X Premium+ Price Hike!
This marks the second price increase in the past few months. Back in December, the company had already raised the subscription fee from $16 to $22. With the latest adjustment, Premium+ subscribers will now have to pay more than twice the previous price.

Additionally, xAI has introduced a separate “SuperGrok” plan, which offers some of Grok 3’s features outside the Premium+ plan. Premium+ subscribers will still have access to select features such as “deep search” and “logical reasoning”, but not the full suite of AI capabilities.
There are also inconsistencies in X’s pricing display. Some users attempting to subscribe to Premium+ saw different prices across various sections of the platform. One user encountered a $39.83 per month ($477.95 annually) price on the sign-up screen, but the checkout page displayed an annual fee of $395.
A similar issue was observed on X’s support page. While the support page listed the Premium+ monthly fee as $50, the sign-up page showed $48.40, and the checkout page displayed $40.
