Microsoft has revealed the games available to play for free this weekend as part of their Free Play Days program for Xbox consoles. From May 12th to 15th, Xbox Game Pass subscribers and Xbox Live Gold members can try out Cities: Skylines – Remastered, Crime Boss: Rockay City, and From Space at no additional cost.
Xbox announces new Free Play Days lineup
Cities: Skylines – Remastered is an enhanced version of the popular city-building simulator. Players can design and zone their own cities across 25 tiles of map space. The remaster also features improved tools, user interface upgrades, and better performance over the original release.
Crime Boss: Rockay City is a cooperative first-person shooter where criminal crews pull off intense heists. The game boasts an all-star cast of movie talents that have lent their likenesses to characters.
From Space lets up to three friends battle endless waves of pink aliens in a top-down co-op shooter format. Players must work together to fend off the alien invasion across various planets and biomes.
In addition, all Xbox players can currently access the Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, and Witch Queen expansions for free in Destiny 2 until June 4th. The expansions normally require ownership of the respective DLC packs.
Discounts of up to 50% are also available this weekend on the Full Play Days titles for anyone looking to purchase them long-term. Progress made during the Free Play period will carry over if purchased. The promotion ends on May 15th.
