Xbox Copilot, Microsoft’s AI assistant for games, has been released to Windows 11 users after a testing period. The assistant, which works via Game Bar, is now available globally. Copilot provides features such as in-game guidance, voice command support, and personalized recommendations.
Xbox Copilot on Windows 11
Xbox Copilot works as a widget integrated into Game Bar. Players can get information through Copilot without leaving their screen. The system allows users to communicate with the assistant via voice commands.

It can also respond to questions by recognizing context from screenshots. For example, when a screenshot of an in-game boss is uploaded, Copilot can share details about that character.
Other functions offered by the assistant include offering game recommendations, displaying recently earned achievements, and providing personalized tips based on gameplay history. The feature won’t be limited to Windows 11. Xbox Copilot will also be integrated into the Xbox mobile app in October, allowing players to use Copilot as a second screen on their mobile devices during gameplay.
Microsoft plans to bring Copilot support to the Xbox Ally series of portable consoles in the future. The integration process has also begun for Xbox consoles. The company aims to make the player experience more personalized and helpful by expanding Copilot across the entire ecosystem.
