The recent rumors surrounding Microsoft’s Xbox exclusive game Starfield have stirred up the tech world. According to the claims, the company may release its action-adventure game Starfield, which was released in September 2023 after significant investments, for Sony’s rival gaming console, the PlayStation 5.

Starfield won’t be the first Xbox game rumored to be coming to other platforms. Previously, games developed by studios affiliated with Microsoft, such as Sea of Thieves and Hi-Fi Rush, have been rumored to be made available for PlayStation and Nintendo Switch platforms alongside PC.
Microsoft has previously discussed its intention to release its games for all platforms over time. Tim Stuart, a senior executive at Xbox, even hinted at this during a meeting last December.
