Xbox Game Pass subscribers will get new games from different genres in September. Two major strategy games will join the Game Pass library at launch. Subscribers will also have the opportunity to try EA Sports FC 25.
Xbox Game Pass September games
The three games that will be added to the Game Pass library include Ara: History Untold, Frostpunk 2 and Wargroove 2. Wargroove 2, a turn-based tactics game, will be available to subscribers on September 19. On September 20, the post-apocalyptic city-builder Frostpunk 2 will launch for PC Game Pass.
Another good news for strategy game lovers will be Ara: History Untold. The new strategy game published by Xbox Game Studios and developed by Oxide Games will be available for PC Game Pass on September 24.
Additionally, Overwatch 2 has been permanently added to Game Pass benefits. Players who link their Xbox account with an active subscription will gain access to exclusive hero skins, Mythic items, experience bonuses and more.
EA Sports FC 25 early access will also be available starting September 20th. Subscribers will be able to test the new game for up to 10 hours via EA Play.

Microsoft is expected to announce the games that will be added to Game Pass in the first half of October within the next two weeks. Information on which platforms Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be supported on is also expected to be announced later this month.
