Xenoblade Chronicles X Voice Sync Bug Found on Switch 2

Ana sayfa / Games

Nintendo has officially acknowledged a new bug affecting Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition on the Switch 2. The game, which launched earlier this year, now appears to suffer from occasional voice sync issues when played on Nintendo’s latest console.

Although no major patches have been released since launch, players recently reported that character voices sometimes fall out of sync with their animations in specific scenes. Nintendo has confirmed this bug and mentioned that a fix will arrive in a future update.

Voice lines may lag behind or jump ahead of character movements, which disrupts immersion during cutscenes. This issue appears to be isolated to the Switch 2 hardware, as previous versions of the game did not report the same problem.

Players on Reddit and gaming forums have flagged this problem over the past few weeks, prompting a response from Nintendo.

Nintendo hasn’t announced a timeline yet, but its acknowledgment suggests a patch is in the pipeline. In the meantime, the bug doesn’t affect gameplay directly, but story-heavy scenes may feel jarring.
