Xiaomi introduced the 12S Ultra in China last week. The device is equipped with flagship specs, design and price. Meanwhile, it marks the collaboration between Xiaomi and Leica. Unfortunately, there is some bad news from the flagship. Here are the details.
Xiaomi 12S Ultra will not be sold outside of the Chinese market
The Xiaomi 12S Ultra was recently launched in China, and sales figures have been good. Of course, users around the world were also waiting for the flagship. But a while ago, Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, gave bad news about the smartphone’s global availability.
Lei Jun has announced that the device will only be sold in the Chinese market and won’t be available for purchase outside of China. Also, Jun says the next-generation models should sell next year in the global market.
Xiaomi 11 Ultra reached significant sales figures last year. The same was expected from the smartphone’s successor, the 12 Ultra. However, Lei Jun has closed the doors to this possibility with his latest statement.
