Xiaomi 13 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC

The new flagship series is finally available with official announcements. There were a lot of rumors and leaks about the Xiaomi 13 before the launch event. Now, the brand launched the new device officially. According to the announcements, the Xiaomi 13 is powered by the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, a 120Hz OLED display, MIUI 14, and more. The phone manufacturer announced that the 13 comes with a 6.36-inch OLED display (2400×1800) with a 120Hz refresh rate, punch-hole cutout, and HDR10+. In terms of performance, the brand prefers the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with Adreno GPU, and the device features up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage options.

The new Leica camera system will get a place in the new Xiaomi 13 series. The 13 comes with a Leica triple camera setup, including a 50-megapixel main, a 10-megapixel telephoto, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The phone has a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

The Xiaomi 13 launches with 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging. Additionally, it has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 67W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W wireless reverse charging.

The Xiaomi 13 costs CNY 3999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option while the 8GB+256GB, 12GB+ 256GB, and 12GB+512GB versions cost CNY 4299, CNY 4599, and CNY 4999. The device will be available in Black, White, Wilderness Green, and Far Mountain Blue color options.
