Previously, the manufacturer used the name “fuxi” from Chinese mythology for Xiaomi 13, and now they have started developing Xiaomi 14 with the codenames “Houji” and “Shennong”.
It is expected that the Xiaomi 14 series will feature innovative design and a collaboration with Leica in terms of the camera. The mythological terms also provide some clues in this regard. “Houji,” who is believed to be the great-great-grandson of the Yellow Emperor (Huang Di) and the initiator of agriculture in China, represents innovation. “Shennong,” known as the Yan Emperor, is associated with abundance in China.
