New information has emerged about the Xiaomi 14 flagship series. The latest report from China has revealed the features of the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. According to the report, the 14 series could be the first to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro specs
The Xiaomi 13 series continues to make waves around the world. However, Xiaomi has accelerated its work on new flagship models. Qualcomm plans to announce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset at the end of October. Xiaomi will unveil the 14 and 14 Pro a month later.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is expected to feature 5x Cortex-A720 cores and 2x Cortex-A520 cores, as well as a Cortex-X4 main core. It seems possible that the new eight-core chipset will include an Adreno 750 GPU.
In addition to the chipset, the Xiaomi 14 is rumoured to be powered by a 4860mAh battery with 90W wired charging and 50W wireless fast charging support. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14 Pro will have a 5000mAh battery with 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.
The Xiaomi 14 model will be launched with a 1.5K screen with 6.44-inch dimensions. It should be noted that the company will include the C7 OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate in the new model. Among the leaked information is that the company will use UFS 3.1 and LPDDR5 technologies in the Xiaomi 14 series.
The device, which is said to be launched with a triple camera array, will use a 50-megapixel 1/1.28-inch Sony IMX 878 main camera and a 50-megapixel JN1 telephoto camera with 3x zoom. The new series is expected to be launched in China in November.
