The countdown has officially begun for Xiaomi’s upcoming Xiaomi 14 series, which they are preparing to release very soon, according to Xiaomiui’s report. Numerous details about the smartphones have surfaced, leaving very few questions about what kind of performance they will offer. A recent leak reveals the launch date of the series.
Release date of Xiaomi 14 series revealed in MIUI 15 codes
According to Xiaomiui, Xiaomi has entered the final stages of testing for MIUI 15, which is based on Android 14. If we look at the codes of the new build, we can say that Xiaomi’s new flagship phones will be released in the first week of November.
This leak aligns with a recent report from Digital Chat Station, one of the other reliable sources in the industry. So, barring any unforeseen delays, the Xiaomi 14 series will debut in China in November and will be available worldwide at an event to be held later. Considering that the current Xiaomi 13 series was released in December 2023, it’s safe to say that the new models are arriving a bit earlier.
The smartphones will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Qualcomm has set the launch date for the chipset in October 2023. The new processor will be showcased at the annual Snapdragon Summit, which is planned to be held in Maui, Hawaii, from October 24th to 26th.
The Xiaomi 14 models will feature a 50-megapixel main camera. The standard model is expected to use a 4860 mAh battery, supporting 90W wired and 50W wireless charging speeds, while the Pro model will come with a 5000 mAh battery supporting 120W wired and 50W wireless fast charging.
