Xiaomi has released a new update for its flagship phone from last year, the Xiaomi 15, bringing a number of optimizations and fixes to the device’s camera experience. Released in the Chinese market, HyperOS 3.0.5.0 aims to further improve the brand’s latest Android-based custom interface.
Xiaomi 15 Updated
Having recently begun rolling out HyperOS 3 for the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra models in the Indian market, the Chinese tech giant is now offering this new update to address some issues encountered by Xiaomi 15 users.

This update, with HyperOS 3.0.5.0 build, addresses general system improvements as well as bugs related to some payment applications in China. However, one of the most significant fixes focuses on the camera app experience.
Issues related to menu arrows in the camera interface, particularly those not resetting based on phone orientation after returning from settings, have been resolved. Additionally, some rare failures in searching for applications installed on the Xiaomi 15 are also fixed with this software update.
This update from Xiaomi is a minor software upgrade that doesn’t add any major new features, but rather includes incremental changes and bug fixes.
Another related development is that HyperOS 3, based on Android 16, brings an increase in overall system speed, but causes a decrease in emulation game performance. This operating system-based update has also started rolling out for POCO F6 Pro and Redmi Pad 2 4G models.
