Xiaomi 15 series shows off in gaming tests
The Xiaomi 15 ran Genshin Impact at maximum settings at an average of 59.9 FPS. Impressively, the chip’s power consumption topped out at just over 4W and reached a maximum temperature of 39°C. We can see how well the Snapdragon 8 Elite performs, consuming less power while achieving the same average FPS as the Dimensity 9400. But the latest Qualcomm chip consumes significantly more power than the previous Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 throughout the tests.
The tests also evaluated performance in the Honor of Kings game, reaching an average of 119.8 FPS at a power consumption of 3.65W and a maximum temperature of 37.9°C. The third test was Honkai: Star Rail game. The Xiaomi 15 also ran the 3D Mark Steel Nomad GPU test and scored an impressive 2,530 points with an average of 18.7 FPS, beating last year’s iPhone 15 Pro.
Previously, a Xiaomi 15 prototype proved its power in the Geekbench test, scoring an impressive 3,180 points with a single-core score and 10,058 points with a multi-core score.
