Xiaomi’s highly anticipated 15 Ultra is set for a global launch just like its predecessor, and this week a live hands-on image of the model leaked. The phone’s official unveiling is expected to take place next month, but we’re already getting hints about some of the device’s design features and hardware.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra design revealed
The shared image reveals the rear design of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra in full detail. The camera island is large, just like the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, but the sensors, LED flash layout and Leica branding have taken new positions. The bezel of the device, unlike the 14 Ultra, is not integrated with the rear surface, but has a more traditional design. This allows the device to have a design approach that is similar to other phones.

Another striking detail in the image is the red ring around the camera island. The back surface is black in colour and made of textured glass, which can create a kind of glitter effect with possible reflections under light. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra comes with a number of impressive camera features. It is rumoured to feature a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, a 50MP short-range telephoto camera, a 1-inch main camera with Sony’s Lytia LYT-900 sensor, and a 50MP wide-angle camera powered by Samsung’s ISOCELL JN5 sensor.
Powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 processor, the phone promises a successful performance in terms of high processing power and efficiency.
The company has not made a big change in terms of cameras; a main camera with a resolution of 50MP and a selfie camera with a resolution of 8MP are used.Especially the 50MP main camera is optimised to take clear and detailed photos even in low light conditions. Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to be a powerful flagship device with these features.
