Significant developments have taken place for Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship 16 series. The lineup is expected to include three models: Xiaomi 16, Xiaomi 16 Pro, and Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini. All three devices have passed China’s 3C certification, confirming that the launch planned for the end of September is on track.
Xiaomi 16 Series Receives 3C Certification
The 3C certification database in China revealed model numbers 25113PN0EC and 25098PN5AC, which are reportedly linked to the Xiaomi 16 and Xiaomi 16 Pro. Another device with the model number 2509FPN0BC has also appeared, which is believed to belong to the Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini.

All three devices were listed with the MDY-18-EW charger. This adapter supports multiple output modes and reaches up to 20V 5A, or 100W, confirming that the entire lineup will feature 100W fast charging.
The Xiaomi 16 series will be the first to debut with the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor. The Xiaomi 16 will come with a more compact 6.3-inch display, while the Pro model is expected to arrive in both 6.3-inch and 6.8-inch variants. On the camera side, the standard model will feature an OV50Q main sensor and a telephoto lens, while the Pro and Pro Max models will include a larger Smartsens sensor along with a periscope telephoto lens for enhanced zoom capabilities.
In terms of battery capacity, the Xiaomi 16 will offer around 7000mAh, while the Pro Max will feature a 7500mAh battery. The launch is scheduled to take place after the Qualcomm Snapdragon Summit between September 23–25, with sales beginning in China first before expanding to global markets.
