Recent reports from industry insider Digital Chat Station reveal that the device will feature a sophisticated “Privacy Display” technology, an hardware-level innovation designed to restrict viewing angles and protect personal data from prying eyes. Beyond this screen technology, the handset is slated to include the high-performance Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor, a dual 200-megapixel camera system, an expanded 4-inch rear secondary display, and a massive battery exceeding 7000 mAh, marking a significant leap in hardware capabilities for the Chinese manufacturer.

Privacy Display Technology Limits Visibility for Others

As modern users increasingly handle sensitive banking information and private communications in public spaces, hardware-based security has become a necessity. The Xiaomi 18 Pro addresses this by incorporating an optical layer within its 2K OLED panel that narrows the field of view.
