Xiaomi has added a new security camera to its smart home product line. The model, announced as Smart Camera 4, comes with 4K resolution, artificial intelligence support, and strong privacy measures. The device also attracted attention with its price of only $ 34.

Smart Camera 4 has an 8-megapixel resolution sensor. This sensor can record video at 4K level. In addition, thanks to the f / 1.6 aperture, clear images can be obtained in low-light conditions. HDR support provides a balanced image in both bright and dark environments.
The camera includes a special artificial intelligence chip called MJA1 developed by Xiaomi. This chip analyzes the unusual sounds it detects directly on the device. By processing the data locally without transferring it to the cloud, both the processing speed increases and user privacy is protected.
The night vision feature uses 940nm infrared light. In this way, clear and as colorful images as possible can be provided up to 10 meters in the dark. The camera can move 360 degrees horizontally and 109 degrees vertically thanks to its motorized head.
Users can manually direct the camera, as well as create tracking routes for specific areas. Thanks to the two-way audio transmission, the camera can be intervened remotely by voice. In addition, data transmission is more stable and faster with the Wi-Fi 6 connection.
