Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO models that will no longer receive updates – June 2024

Google’s recent announcement revealed that we’re nearing the launch of Android 15 at the Made by Google event scheduled for August 13. Of course, as new updates come out, support for older devices continues to be phased out. This situation is similar in the Xiaomi ecosystem, where every phone and tablet has a defined update period. Here are the Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO models whose update support will end in June 2024:

Xiaomi models ending update support

For Android phones, update support is typically announced for two years for operating system updates and four years for security updates. In exceptional cases, security updates may continue even after these periods. Xiaomi regularly updates its End-of-Life (EOL) list on its website, which includes models from Redmi, POCO, and Mi series.

Models listed in Xiaomi’s EOL list will no longer receive MIUI, HyperOS, Android, or security updates. Here are the Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO models for which update support has been discontinued…
