YouTube is addressing a long-standing problem that has plagued users. The platform will introduce the option to hide video and playlist recommendations, which automatically appear at the end of videos and direct viewers to other videos. This innovation will save viewers from missing important content due to redirect links appearing in the final seconds of a video.
YouTube will hide playlist recommendations
Preview links that take up the screen in the last few seconds of videos that nearly every user watched intently, redirecting to other content, appeared. This feature was not actually added by YouTube, but by the creators who uploaded the video to encourage viewing of other videos on the channel.

However, many creators were unaware that this end screen prevented the main content at the end of the video from being visible. This created a significant disadvantage for viewers.
To address this issue, YouTube is introducing a “hide” option. According to the new announcement, users can completely remove these redirect links, which appear at the end of a video, by selecting the hide option from the top right corner of the screen.
This allows you to focus on the ending of the video. However, this hiding option only applies to the end screen of the currently playing video. Users must choose to hide it again when switching to another video. Users can also choose to show the hidden end screen again if they wish.
This allows you to see the full ending of the video and explore other suggested content. What are your thoughts on this? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
