The countdown has begun for vivo’s S20 series, a promising entry in the competitive smartphone market. Reports so far indicate that the series will target the upper-midrange segment, with the latest developments revealing technical details of the Pro model.
What Will the vivo S20 Pro Offer? Specifications Revealed
Digital Chat Station, known for industry leaks, has shed light on previously unknown features of the upcoming vivo S20 Pro. According to these details, the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset. Built on a 4nm architecture, this processor includes 1x 3.4 GHz ARM Cortex-X4, 3x 2.85 GHz ARM Cortex-X4, and 4x 2.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A720 cores, along with the Immortalis-G720 MC12 GPU.
The device will feature a 6.7-inch OLED LTPS display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For selfies, it will offer a 50MP front camera. On the back, it will include a 50MP Sony IMX921 main camera with OIS support, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP IMX882 periscope telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. Additionally, it’s expected to provide up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
The vivo S20 Pro will also come with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging. The S20 series is expected to be officially unveiled toward the end of this month. However, no official statements regarding the phone’s features or release date have been made yet.
