Xiaomi 14 Ultra features revealed
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra model will feature an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The technology that the Chinese company is working on is said to be more precise and secure than the optical fingerprint reader used in current flagship models.
The smartphone will have a 1-inch Sony LYT900 main camera. This sensor will appear as an optimized version of the IMX9898 found in Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi 12S Ultra, and Xiaomi 13 Pro.
As seen above, the 1-inch camera, which has been a constant feature in Xiaomi’s Ultra models for several generations, will also be used in the 14 Ultra. In addition to the main camera, three auxiliary sensors with a resolution of 50 megapixels each will accompany. Moreover, the device is expected to have a 5,500 mAh battery.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be used in the smartphone. Qualcomm continues its collaboration with TSMC for the new processor. The processor, manufactured with 4nm technology, includes 1 ARM Cortex-X4 core at 3.3 GHz, 3 ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.2 GHz, 2 ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.0 GHz, and 2 ARM Cortex-A520 cores at 2.3 GHz.
