Vivo continues to present its lineup of smartphones across various segments to increase its market share. While the Chinese company has recently focused on the entry and mid-range segments, it seems they won’t neglect the flagship category. A recent development reveals the launch date of the Vivo X100 series.
Vivo X100 launch date has been announced
The launch date for the Vivo X100 series has been revealed. The Chinese manufacturer has released teaser posters for the smartphones, indicating that the series will be unveiled in China on November 17th. Unfortunately, there’s no information available at the moment regarding a global launch.
Based on past leaks, the standard and Pro models of the series are expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 processor. The top-tier Pro+ model, on the other hand, will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. It’s also mentioned that the Pro models will have satellite connectivity capabilities.
The Pro models are expected to provide a high-end camera experience. According to a recent report, the X100 is expected to feature a 1/1.4-inch Sony IMX9 series main camera, along with a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B telephoto lens.
The primary camera is said to be an advanced version of the IMX9 series sensor and an improved variant of the IMX866. Additionally, it’s suggested that the X100 Pro will have a 1-inch primary camera, a new periscope zoom sensor, and possibly a 12-megapixel IMX663 ultra-wide lens.
