ASUS, known for its gaming-focused models, has unveiled the highly anticipated ROG Phone 9 series to users. With flagship-level specifications, these phones are grabbing attention. What does ASUS ROG Phone 9 offer?
The ASUS ROG Phone 9 series comes with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED HDR LTPO display, offering a 165 Hz refresh rate. In some games, this refresh rate can even reach 185 Hz. The display also boasts 2500 nits of peak brightness, DCI-P3 color gamut, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection technology.
These smartphones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, built on a 3 nm architecture. The chipset includes 2x 4.32 GHz and 6x 3.53 GHz cores, along with the Adreno 830 GPU. Notably, the standard model has achieved a record-breaking score of 3,121,390 on AnTuTu.
It reveals that ASUS will make a surprise and introduce an affordable model called ROG Phone 9 FE very soon.
The series is equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage technologies, offering up to 24 GB RAM and 1 TB of internal storage.
In the camera department, the ROG Phone 9 features a 50 MP Sony LYTIA 700 primary camera with 6-axis gimbal stabilization, a 13 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5 MP macro sensor. Meanwhile, the ROG Phone 9 Pro replaces the macro lens with a 32 MP 3x telephoto camera with OIS. Both models are equipped with a 32 MP front camera.
