Skoda, the Volkswagen-Audi Group’s favorite brand, has introduced the facelifted versions of the Scala and Kamiq in its model family. Known as sister cars, Scala and Kamiq are quite similar to each other, but they also have big differences. Here are the technical specifications and details of the new 2024 facelifted Skoda Scala and Kamiq…
2024 facelifted Skoda Scala and Kamiq specs!
The Skoda model family’s popular Scala and Kamiq, also known for their relatively affordable prices, have been facelifted. In the past weeks, Skoda has shown us new models, albeit at the end. Today, the vehicles were introduced to users globally. The family’s twin hatchback and crossover SUV models have been renewed with minor details.
Both vehicles have a new LED headlight design. In fact, although they do not technically have big differences with the previous model, the subtle touches made in terms of design make the cars look sportier. Apart from the headlights, light touches on the bumper and grilles increase the depth, while the standard Scala and Kamiq lines are not touched much.
However, there is a surprise waiting for the users in the design detail. Scala and Kamiq will be offered to users with a dual color option. Opel, one of Skoda’s rival brands, first started the trend with the facelifted Mokka, and now Skoda has joined the trend. Both cars will have nine different color options, but as we said, they will also have a dual color option.
If you remember, we said twin cars. Here, this duality is quite evident in the interior. Except for their dimensions, both cars have exactly the same interior design. Scala and Kamiq both have an 8 or 9.25-inch multimedia screen. This screen is focused on the driver in a way that we first started to see in German cars. The vehicles are also optionally equipped with 8- or 10.25-inch digital displays.
2024 Skoda Scala and Kamiq engine options
As you can guess, both vehicles will have the same engine options. But Skoda gives bad news for its users who love diesel engines. Skoda Scala and Kamiq models will no longer have a turbo diesel engine option. Consumers will choose from 1.0 TSI turbo gasoline 95 Hp, 1.0 TSI 115 Hp or 1.5 TSI turbo gasoline 150 Hp engines. All three engines will be available with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.
