The popular social media platform Reddit has taken the decision to shut down the r/all page, which allowed users to follow the most popular posts across the platform with minimal filtering. According to company update notes shared via The Verge, entry points and links to the r/all page began to be completely removed as of April 2, 2026. This significant change directly impacts not only the desktop version but also the Android and iOS mobile applications.
A Radical Decision from Reddit: Unfiltered r/all is Closing
The company describes this move as part of its efforts to simplify the platform and make the home feed experience more personalized. With this change, trending content can now only be followed through the r/popular feed. While the now-shuttered r/all page filtered almost nothing except extreme sexual content, the new standard r/popular feed completely blocks adult content tagged as NSFW (Not Safe For Work).

Currently, users attempting to reach the r/all page through standard methods or direct links are automatically redirected to the Reddit home page. Reddit had previously tested redirects from r/all to other pages, but until now, it was referred to as an experiment within the platform. With the latest decision, this redirection has become permanent for the default interface.
The “Old Reddit” Loophole Still Works
Although this page has been completely removed from the modern interface, a working method remains for those who want uninterrupted access to all trends. As explicitly stated by Reddit management, those using the old Reddit interface (old.reddit.com) can continue to access the r/all feed via the link at the top of the page. The platform guarantees that this legacy version option will remain accessible for users who desire it.
