BYD is preparing to renew the Atto 3 for 2025 at a time when competition in the electric vehicle market is increasing rapidly. The renewed version of the popular SUV model was spotted during road tests in China. So what is changing in the vehicle? Here’s the BYD Atto 3 for 2025.
BYD Atto 3 ready for 2025
The new Atto 3 has significant changes in its exterior design. Especially in the front, it has a sporty bumper with a larger air intake. Innovations are also noticeable in the rear section. The new bumper design and decorative diffuser add a different atmosphere to the vehicle.
One of the most striking changes is the new spoiler with vertically positioned double brake lamps instead of a single stop lamp strip. The 2025 Atto 3 will be available in white, black, purple, blue, green, grey, black, black, blue, green and grey, as well as a new beige colour.
The side section is characterised by chrome stripes and partially blacked-out rear pillars. On the engine side, the powertrain and dimensions of the current model are expected to be retained. This means a single 150 kW (201 hp) electric motor mounted on the front axle and two different battery options.
The biggest technological innovation seems to be the new camera added to the front bumper. This means that the refreshed Atto 3 will be more capable of advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS). The company also said a while ago that it will support its entire model range autonomously in 2025.
