Supported by Huawei and continually evolving, Aito has announced its new electric SUV model, the Aito M9. Aito, which has previously achieved success with its six-seater model, now aims to replicate that success with a five-seater version, expanding the features of the Aito M9. Here are the details of the electric SUV Aito M9…
Aito M9 Comes with Huawei’s Smart Driving System
One of the best aspects of Aito being supported by Huawei is the integration of technologies developed by the tech giant into the vehicles. The Aito M9 features Huawei’s ADS (Automated Driving System) 3.0 smart driving system, which is supported by an advanced 192-channel LiDAR sensor and other advanced hardware.
The luxury segment electric SUV Aito M9 stands out with its large dimensions, measuring 5.23 meters in length, 1.99 meters in width, 1.8 meters in height, and with a 3.11-meter wheelbase. Like its predecessor, the Aito M9 is offered in two versions: Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV).
EREV Version: This version combines a 1.5T gasoline engine with dual electric motors, delivering 395 kW (536 horsepower). With this engine option, the Aito M9 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, offering an electric-only range of 225 km or 275 km.
BEV Version: The fully electric version boasts 390 kW (523 horsepower) and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. Produced on Huawei’s advanced 800V Giant Whale platform, this version provides a range of 630 km with its 100 kWh battery.
Currently available in the Chinese market, the Aito M9 is priced at €59,500 for the gasoline and electric version, and €72,000 for the fully electric version.
