Countdown has begun for Xiaomi’s Redmi K Pad, a tablet the company has been working on for some time. The new device will feature a compact design while delivering flagship-level performance for a premium user experience. So, what exactly will the upcoming tablet offer?
What does the Redmi K Pad bring? Features and design revealed
The Redmi K Pad will come with an 8.8-inch LCD display. This panel offers a 3K resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 165Hz refresh rate. While the screen size isn’t very small, considering that traditional tablets usually have larger displays, the Redmi K Pad can be considered compact in that sense.

Recently, tablets with screen sizes around 8 inches have been gaining popularity, and Xiaomi is joining this trend.
On the back, the tablet will feature a single camera with an LED flash module. Earlier promotional posters showed the device in a light green color, but the latest images reveal a light purple variant.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, the Redmi K Pad will come with 16GB of RAM. It is expected to run on Android 15 right out of the box.
Thanks to its 3C and CMIIT certifications, the Redmi K Pad will support 67W wired fast charging. Although the official launch date has not been announced yet, more details about the K Pad and the K80 Ultra are expected to be shared during a live event on June 18.
