Huawei has officially announced its new smartphone, the Nova 14i, for the international market. The device’s features and design bear significant similarities to the Enjoy 60x and Nova Y91 models released last year. This suggests that Huawei is relaunching its previous successful model with a refreshed name to remain competitive in 2025. Here are the details.
Huawei Nova 14i Designed for Daily Needs
The phone is equipped with a large 6.95-inch LCD panel offering FHD+ resolution. It offers a 90Hz refresh rate for a smooth viewing experience. Huawei also claims that the display has a 270Hz touch sampling rate for faster touch response.

The device features a glossy glass back. A large, circular camera module stands out in the upper center. It is available in two colors: Blue and Black. At the heart of the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, known for its reliable performance.
Supported by 8GB of RAM, the device offers users a choice of 128GB or 256GB of storage. The Nova 14i’s most striking feature is its battery life. The device is powered by a massive 7,000mAh battery, which is quite impressive considering its thin chassis (8.9mm).
Huawei claims this battery can provide up to 26 hours of video playback or 60 hours of talk time on a single charge. Unfortunately, the phone ships with EMUI 14.2 out of the box, not the latest version.
The device also features a dedicated physical button on the side called the “X button,” which allows you to quickly launch frequently used apps or widgets with a single tap or long press.
The large camera module houses a dual-camera setup accompanied by an LED flash. The main camera promises sharp photos with a 50MP resolution, accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, an 8MP selfie camera is housed in a pill-shaped notch.
Huawei hasn’t yet announced pricing information for the Nova 14i, but pricing details are expected to be released soon once it’s available internationally.
