Sony’s $1,000 Xperia 5 IV offers 4K 120p HDR on all three rear cameras

Sony keeps alive its small flagship with the Xperia 5 IV
Sony launched the Xperia 5 IV. However, it doesn’t include a major camera feature. While the Xperia 1 lets you zoom anywhere between 3.5x and 5.2x to have great long-range photography, the latest phone doesn’t have the variable telephoto lens. Of course, there are still perfect features of the new small flagship.
Sony announced the latest small flagship at IFA 2022. We earlier saw that Lenovo also announced many new devices at this event. There will be more brands that launch new devices and software. The device gets its power from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It has 8GB of RAM memory.
On the display side, Sony used a 6.1-inch HDR OLED FHD+ panel on that phone. It has also a 120Hz refresh rate and a 21:9 aspect ratio. These screen rates are similar to the Xperia 5 III. However, the brand claims that the display will be 50% brighter with its new features.
The Sony Xperia 5 IV has 16mm, 24mm, and 60mm 12-megapixel rear cameras. On the front side, it comes with a 12-megapixel selfie camera, capable of shooting 4K HDR video. It comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W wired charging, wireless charging, and battery share.
