The upcoming iOS 17 is rumored to introduce updates for the Wallet and Health apps. Leaker @analyst941 recently shared mockups allegedly showcasing the design changes that can be expected.
Revamped Wallet app
In the Wallet app mockup, a navigation bar at the bottom separates the various functions available in the app. Categories include Cards, Cash, Keys, IDs, and Orders. The mockup also features a “Passes & More” tab, with the leaker suggesting additional features are on the way.
Users may be able to swipe down to access a search interface for finding specific cards or passes, alongside a “Transactions” button. This new design would be a functional improvement over the current Wallet app, making it easier to locate particular features such as passes and order details. Given the Wallet app’s expanding functionality beyond credit and debit card storage, such a design update seems plausible.
Health app redesign
As for the Health app, Analyst941 claims that the “Favorites” section under “Summary” will undergo a redesign with a card-style interface. Each card will display “visual data” including “colored graphs,” “tables,” and more. However, it remains unclear how this card design for Favorites would integrate with the Trends and Highlights sections.
Although Analyst941 accurately leaked information about the iPhone 14 Pro’s Dynamic Island prior to its launch, their long-term track record is limited. Therefore, the information should be taken with a grain of salt.
In recent weeks, Analyst941 has shared numerous rumors about features in iOS 17, watchOS 10, and more. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has expressed skepticism about some of these claims. Apple’s WWDC keynote on June 5 will reveal the accuracy of these leaks.
Regardless of the mockups’ accuracy, other reliable rumors suggest updates for the Health and Wallet apps. Gurman has confirmed that Apple is working on updates to the Wallet app and new features for the Health app, such as iPad compatibility and mood tracking.
