As usual, Apple will unveil its new generation of iPhone models in September. As the launch date of the iPhone 15 series approaches, new information about these smartphones emerges every day. The latest information pertains to the batteries of the iPhone 15 models.

iPhone 15 series will boast impressive battery performance

According to a Foxconn employee’s claim, the iPhone 15 series will feature significantly larger batteries. The statement made by the Foxconn employee suggests that the iPhone 15 will have an 18% larger battery. It is stated that the iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro will be equipped with a 14% larger battery, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a 12% larger battery.

The Foxconn employee, who indicated that the next-generation iPhone models will have larger batteries, also shared the battery capacities of the phones. Accordingly, the battery capacity of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro will approach 4,000 mAh, while the 15 Pro Max and 15 Plus will push the limits with 5,000 mAh.

If these claims are true, the iPhone 15 Plus model will continue to hold the title of the iPhone model with the largest battery, further widening the gap. The iPhone 15 Pro, on the other hand, will continue to be the iPhone model with the smallest battery.

Although these pieces of information have not been proven yet, the fact that the next-generation iPhone models will come with a slightly thicker design strengthens the claims. The increased thickness of the new iPhone models may provide extra space for larger batteries.

Along with the increased battery capacities, the efficiency of the A16 and A17 processors reaching a higher level is expected to result in a significant increase in battery performance for iPhone models. This way, Apple will gain a significant advantage over Android phones.
