In the past few days, Huawei, which introduced the new version of its operating system HarmonyOS, also unveiled a car model with HarmonyOS 4 during this event. The details of the vehicle, which were hinted at by Huawei executive Richard Yu, have also come to light.
Luxeed S7 will stand out with its design and performance
Luxeed S7, highlighted as the first car with HarmonyOS 4 operating system, reappeared in the documents of the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The new vehicle, a result of the collaboration between Huawei and Chinese car manufacturer Chery, stands out with its features.
Luxeed S7, which will come in three different versions, will have two different motor arrangements. While the single-motor version of the vehicle produces 215 kW (292 horsepower), the dual-motor version can provide an additional 150 kW (204 horsepower). Both versions are said to have a top speed of over 210 km/h.
The batteries of the new electric car will carry the CATL signature. As for the battery capacity and range of the vehicle, we don’t have details yet. However, the electric car can be expected to have a range of at least 500 kilometers.
Looking at the dimensions of the vehicle, it is 4,971 mm in length, 1,963 mm in width, and 1,474 mm in height. With a length of up to 5 meters, the Luxeed S7 will be quite large and will compete with the Mercedes-Benz EQS. The wheelbase of the electric car is announced as 2,950 mm. With a wheelbase of up to 3 meters, we can also say that the new model will offer a spacious living area.
In terms of design, Luxeed S7 stands out with its simple and elegant design. In this sense, it can be said that Luxeed S7 has a timeless design. The slim LED lighting group placed in the front and rear sections is also among the details that complete the vehicle’s design. The black-colored roof contrasting with the body is another detail that catches our attention.
