With Starfield, released last week, Bethesda, a subsidiary of Microsoft, has entered a universe from scratch for the first time in years. However, we know that the company has developed many great series with great universes. One of them is Dishonored, whose 2nd game came out in 2016.
Dishonored series is being developed quietly
Last night the documents for Microsoft’s 2020 acquisition of Bethesda parent company ZeniMax Media were leaked, and they contain a lot of information. It lists a number of games and DLC planned through the end of fiscal year 2024.
The list includes expected console and PC releases like Elder Scrolls 6 and the company’s Indiana Jones game. However, some of the titles on the list have yet to be officially announced by Bethesda or Microsoft.
According to this now likely outdated leak, a new Doom game called Doom Year Zero was scheduled for release in the current fiscal year. Additional DLC for this game was planned for the same year, and another DLC for the next fiscal year.
Another game that has yet to be announced, and the real bombshell, is Dishonored 3. This game is slated for release in the next fiscal year (April 2024 – March 2025). The same year in 2022, Bethesda’s Tokyo: Ghostwire sequel in the same year, 2022.
The list also states that gamers can expect remakes of previous Bethesda titles such as Oblivion and Fallout 3.
