Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi, is preparing to launch a new budget Redmi smartphone, the Redmi 13C, and the phone is now online on Amazon’s global site. According to the latest leaks, Redmi’s upcoming device has been listed on Amazon with key specs and pricing. It seems that the phone will be a good option if you’re looking for a mid-range smartphone. Here are the details about the specs and pricing of the Redmi 13C…
Redmi 13C will be powered by MediaTek Helio G99 chipset
When we look at the design of the leaked 13C, we can see that it is similar to the POCO C65, which was launched a few days ago. However, they have different chipsets, while the 13C will be powered by Helio G99 SoC, the POCO C65 comes with MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. Additionally, the Redmi 13C has 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage options.
On the display, the phone is rumored to feature a 6.74-inch (1650 x 720 pixels) HD+ screen. Unfortunately, the 13C runs Android 12-based MIUI 14 out of the box. While it has revealed a 5,000mAh battery with 16W charging support, the 3C certification has already approved that it will have a 10W charger in China.
In terms of camera, the Redmi 13C is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro-camera with f/2.4 aperture on the back, while it has a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
The Amazon listing reveals €130 (USD 138 / Rs. 11,555 approx.) for the 4GB + 128GB and €150 (USD 160 / Rs. 13,335 approx.) f for the 8GB + 256GB model. Although there are no official details about the launch date, we expect Redmi to announce the Redmi 13C soon.
