Tecno, which has recently attracted attention with its smartphones, introduced its Windows handheld console with AR glasses called Pocket Go at MWC 2024. Tecno is one of the companies introducing interesting devices at MWC 2024. The company introduced the Pocket Go handheld console that runs on Windows and is the size of a console controller. The console, which resembles an Xbox controller, is also the lightest handheld console.
However, this little monster is powered by an 8-core Ryzen 7 8840HS with a processing speed of up to 5.1 GHz. The Tecno Pocket Go handheld console also features a fan supported by copper tubing the size of a laptop.
Of course, the biggest difference of the handheld console is that it comes with AR glasses instead of a screen. These AR glasses come with 0.71-inch Micro OLED screens. The AR glasses provide the user with a huge 215-inch screen experience.

The AR glasses also have diopter adjustment up to 600 degrees for users with eye disorders. Diopter indicates the optical power of the lens. Thus, users can adjust this setting according to the degree of eye impairment without purchasing additional apparatus.

Accordingly, the console weighs about half the weight of Windows handheld consoles on the market. Pocket Go also comes with the Tecno Smart Box, which is used as a workstation and can also manage game settings.
Pocket Go has a very limited number of ports. Specifically, the handheld console with AR glasses has a pair of USB Type-C ports, a 3.5mm jack and a MicroSD card slot, as well as two buttons to control the accompanying AR glasses.
It is currently unclear whether the console will be used with smartphones. Although Tecno Pocket Go dazzles with its features, its price and release date are not yet known.
