The ALKA Network-Centric Weapon System is capable of neutralizing targets using laser and electromagnetic waves. It utilizes radars and electro-optical cameras for target detection and tracking. With the help of artificial intelligence, it can automatically detect and track targets.
According to ROKETSAN’s statements, the laser weapon has a range of 750 meters. Additionally, it can counter UAV threats over a wide area in conjunction with the electromagnetic weapon. The shared footage on social media also showcased the tests of the weapon.
The system is designed to be compatible with both mobile and fixed usage. It can be mounted on vehicles in a unified manner or in tower and cabin configurations, allowing it to be operated by one or two individuals.
