Amazon’s beloved series “The Boys” is returning to screens with its 4th season, and things are set to be more chaotic than ever. In the new trailer, Butcher (Karl Urban) and Homelander (Antony Starr) seem ready to burn everything down and take everyone with them. Here are the details…
The Boys Season 4 trailer is out! What can we expect?
In the trailer, Butcher tells Hughie (Jack Quaid), Starlight (Erin Moriarty), and the other Boys members that their time is running out and he plans to spend his remaining days unleashing a deadly virus on the supe community. This virus is the deadly one discovered by Butcher in the season one finale of the “Gen V” spin-off.
This season, Butcher has a new ally; a new character portrayed by “Supernatural” star Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who advocates for the complete destruction of supes. At Vought HQ, Homelander is encouraging his team to become “gods of wrath”. The team’s new members, Firecracker (Valorie Curry) and Sister Sage (Susan Heyward), are taking a strong stance against protesting humans.
In the trailer, as Butcher’s situation worsens, the other Boys members are tired of his lies, and Butcher’s leadership is questioned. Meanwhile, as Homelander tries to consolidate his power, Victoria Neuman gets closer to the Oval Office than ever before. The focus of the season is whether the team members can come together and work to save the world.
The trailer showcases the wild action, dark humor, and social satire of ‘The Boys’. The series stars Karl Urban, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jack Quaid, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Cameron Crovetti. The trailer was unveiled at CCXP México event.
The first three episodes of season 4 will premiere on June 13. The season will consist of eight episodes. The production team of ‘The Boys’ includes names like Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Michaela Starr, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Meredith Glynn, Judalina Neira, Ken F. Levin, and Jason Netter.
