Huawei’s recently introduced triple foldable phone model Mate XT Ultimate has attracted great attention in a short time. Adopting a very stylish and innovative design, this device paved the way for different brands to work on a similar device.
Allegedly, Honor also wants to catch the triple foldable phone trend. Xiaomi’s similar device had recently emerged. It is emphasised that Honor’s expected model is planned to be released in 2025.
Triple foldable Honor phone will arrive at IFA 2025
Honor’s triple folding phone will appear very soon. The latest claims offer us important ideas about the release date of the device. According to rumours, the device will be released at the IFA 2025 event.
If the rumour is confirmed and if the fair takes place in the same period as we saw in 2024, the tri-fold model is expected to be introduced in the third quarter of next year, ie in mid-September.
Honor, which spent the IFA events to the fullest, launched the Honor Magic V3 model, known as the world’s thinnest foldable phone, globally at this year’s event. The device, which reaches a thickness of only 9.3 mm when folded, attracted attention with its stylish appearance.
The same source says that Samsung and Xiaomi are working on a similar device and may announce these products to the market very soon. On the other hand, it is stated that Vivo and OPPO brands have not yet done a similar work on this issue.
According to rumours, the new Honor device will be 10 mm thick when fully folded. Huawei Mate XT Ultimate, on the other hand, comes out with a thickness of 12.8 mm, which is slightly larger than the Samsung Galaxy Fold 6 (12.1 mm) despite the extra folding.
So what do you think about this?
