AMD has updated the Adrenalin Edition: Games rock!

AMD Adrenaline Edition version 24.9.1 improves gaming performance. Many games such as Frostpunk 2, God of War: Ragnarök and many other games have been optimized.

AMD has released a new graphics driver, Adrenalin Edition version 24.9.1. The new update includes Frostpunk 2, God of War: Ragnarök, Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 and The Sims 4. Here are the details

Along with the update, AMD’s AFMF 2 technology is also fully integrated in this release. The big thing about this technology is that it improves frame rates in games by providing lower latency and a smoother gaming experience.

AMD’s Fluid Motion Frames 2 (AFMF 2) technology is available on AMD Radeon RX 6000 and 7000 series graphics cards and some AMD Ryzen processors. This technology includes AI-driven optimizations to increase frame rates and reduce latency in games. It is possible to quickly enable this technology, especially with the HYPR-RX profile.

Meanwhile, support for Vulkan and OpenGL games has been extended. In addition, some games are reportedly achieving 2.5% higher frame rates. AMD has also introduced a new technology called geometric scaling in this update. This technology reduces visual distortions and anti-aliasing problems, resulting in a smoother image.

Finally, bug fixes are also included in this release. Issues with increased memory usage in certain versions of Minecraft, flashing in Microsoft Teams, and bugs that caused DirectX 12 apps to crash with some character sets have all been fixed.
