Smile 2 is an unexpected success
The sequel to the beloved psychological thriller, the first film, which was released in 2022 with $22.6 million, has become an unexpected hit, smashing theaters with $105 million domestically and $217 million worldwide. Smile 2 has now grossed $46 million worldwide.
The Wild Robot film retained its second place, bringing in a total of $102 million. The film, which cost $78 million, is currently aiming to reach $200 million worldwide, and it is thought that this figure will be reached very soon.
Another horror movie, Terrifier 3, dropped one place in the rankings to third place. The film, which recorded a striking 52 percent drop, collected another 9.3 million, bringing its revenue to $36.2 million. However, the production has already managed to surpass the entire global revenue of Terrifier 2, which grossed $10 million domestically and $15.7 million worldwide.
