What Does the New Design of Xbox Look Like?
The development team for the project emphasized how they worked on a new experience for the app’s homepage based on feedback from fans in a note published on Xbox Wire. The team’s statement read:
“We’ve listened to your feedback and internally tested different designs over the past few months. Our goal is to create a unified homepage experience that brings together the latest and greatest content from both the Game Pass and Microsoft Store tabs. This way, you can easily find what you love without having to switch between tabs.”
According to the announcement, the new homepage design will combine news, selected recommendations, free content, and promotions in addition to Game Pass games or individually purchased titles.

It’s also worth noting that a “Skip Back” mode, which allows users to see their recently played games and return to them more quickly in a compact mode, has been added to this new homepage.
