According to the details revealed, the solution to this error has been officially published by the company. Users can now update their devices via Windows Update to get everything back to normal and fix the issue.
Microsoft has updated the PC Health Check information page with details about the issue. In this case, it was announced that affected users should download Windows 10 22H2 update KB5046714.
The company said the following on the subject: ‘This issue on Windows 10 devices has been resolved with Windows updates released on or after 21 November 2024 (KB5046714). We recommend that you install the latest update for your device as it contains important improvements and issue resolutions, including this update.’
In general, these updates are not mandatory like security updates. But they are still offered to solve some other problems in the operating system. As for the source of this error, Microsoft stated that it was caused by WinAppSDK version 1.6.2 released on 12 November. However, this feature was already removed after reports from users.
