vivo continues its efforts in the foldable phone market. The Chinese brand has reached the final stage in developing the X Fold 4 model, which has been postponed several times. The latest developments reveal new details about the smartphone.
What will vivo X Fold 4 offer?
According to reliable industry sources, including Digital Chat Station, new details have emerged about the vivo X Fold 4. Unlike previous models with an in-display fingerprint sensor, this model will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The primary reason for this change is to reduce the device’s thickness.

The foldable phone is expected to come with a 6,000 mAh battery and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Additionally, it will feature a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x zoom.
Sources indicate that the company will focus solely on the X Fold 4 this year, skipping the Pro variant released last year. While there is no official launch date yet, reliable sources suggest significant developments may occur in April.
