Apple is making an interesting innovation in the second generation of the Powerbeats Pro series developed under the Beats brand. The images of the Powerbeats Pro 2 prototype with a transparent design have sparked interest in the technology world. The leaks show that Apple has started to show a renewed interest in transparency in product design.

The transparent prototype in the images clearly displays the internal hardware structure of the Powerbeats Pro 2. This prototype has the same technical infrastructure as the Powerbeats Pro 2, which was released in February 2025 with four different color options. However, it has a completely different appearance in terms of design.

It is known that Apple has tried similar transparent designs in the past. The company has developed some transparent prototypes for the AirPods series, but never released them. On the other hand, a transparent design was offered in limited numbers with the Beats Studio Buds+ model in 2023. However, the internal components in this model were not as obvious as in the Powerbeats Pro 2 prototype.

Since its first version, the Powerbeats Pro series has reached a wide audience, especially among athletes and users who adopt an active lifestyle. The second generation Powerbeats Pro 2 model continued this success with its longer battery life, improved sound quality and improved ergonomics.

It is thought that if a version with a transparent design is officially released for sale, the product could attract more users. However, no official statement has been made by Apple so far.
