Sony has announced the July 2025 content for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers: Cyberpunk 2077 is being added to the library starting July 22nd. This surprise move includes both the game itself and CD Projekt Red’s remastered version with exclusive content for the PS5 platform.
Cyberpunk 2077 added to the PlayStation Plus catalog
Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on both PS4 and PS5, with the PS5 version boasting next-gen features such as ray tracing, dynamic 4K support, and DualSense trigger effects. New PS5-exclusive games will also be added to the library in July.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, Abiotic Factor, Planet Zoo, and New World: Aeternum will be available exclusively to PS5 users. Risk of Rain 2, Tropico 6, and Bluey: The Videogame will be playable on both consoles.
PS2 classics are also available for Premium subscribers: Twisted Metal 3 and 4 are available on both PS4 and PS5. This reunites classic action-car combat games with nostalgic gamers on modern consoles.
In addition, July’s Essentials content is still available. Diablo IV, Justin, and The King of Fighters XV remain available for download for the duration of the current subscription.
With this update, Sony continues to offer subscribers a wide variety of games throughout the summer. The inclusion of a high-profile title like Cyberpunk 2077 is a key part of its strategy to increase PlayStation Plus’s value for money.
