Shortly after introducing the Y19s GT 5G, vivo is now looking to expand its product lineup with the Y50 5G. The upcoming smartphone has reportedly passed a significant milestone ahead of its official launch.

The vivo Y50 5G will feature a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display. The phone measures 167.30 x 76.95 x 8.19 mm and weighs approximately 209 grams. On the front, it houses a 5 MP selfie camera within a waterdrop notch. Around the back, there’s a single 13 MP camera supported by an LED flash.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by MediaTek’s 5G-capable Dimensity 6300 chipset. It will be available in four variants: 4+128 GB, 6+128 GB, 8+256 GB, and 12+256 GB. Storage can also be expanded via microSD support.
The handset will pack a large 6,000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. Pricing will start at $180, with the top-end model expected to cost around $320.
Color options for the vivo Y50 5G include Platinum, Azure, and Diamond Black. While the launch date hasn’t been officially confirmed, it’s rumored to be unveiled on July 18. Design-wise, the phone is expected to resemble vivo’s entry-level models, featuring a circular rear flash module and dual sensors, along with a front panel offering an average screen-to-body ratio.
