After the launch of the vivo V50 in February, new details about its successor, the vivo V60, continue to emerge. The device recently received certifications from SIRIM and TUV, and its expected launch date has now been revealed.
When will the vivo V60 be announced?
According to leaks, the vivo V60 is expected to debut on August 19. During the event, vivo is also likely to introduce the new OriginOS based on Android 16. Additionally, it’s rumored that FunTouch OS, used globally, will receive a major update to offer an experience closer to OriginOS.

Carrying the model number V2511, the vivo V60 has passed certifications from agencies like EEC, SIRIM, and TUV. TUV documents confirm that the device will support 90W fast charging, suggesting it will feature high-end specifications.
The vivo V60 is believed to be a rebranded version of the vivo S30, which is available in the Chinese market. If true, both devices will likely share similar specifications. The S30 features a 6.67-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and houses a 6,000 mAh battery with 90W fast charging. In terms of cameras, it offers a 50 MP main sensor with OIS, a 50 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50 MP front-facing camera with autofocus.
