Xiaomi continues to expand its product lineup, and the Chinese brand is now preparing to unveil the Redmi 15C 5G. Most recently, the smartphone has cleared another important milestone ahead of its launch.
Redmi 15C 5G receives CMIIT certification
The Redmi 15C 5G has received CMIIT certification with the model number 2508CRN2BC. While the certification doesn’t reveal any specific features, it strongly suggests that the device’s launch is just around the corner.

As is common among Chinese brands, rebranding practices are widespread. In this case, the Redmi 15C 5G is expected to be a rebranded version of the POCO C85 5G. Unless there are last-minute changes, both devices will likely share the same technical specifications.
In addition to the 5G version, a 4G variant of the Redmi 15C will also be released. In fact, it has already been listed by an online retailer. This model is expected to be available with 4 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB storage options, starting at a price of €133.
The device is rumored to feature a 6.9-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution. It will reportedly be powered by a 6,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. On the software side, it’s said to come with the Android 15-based HyperOS interface. Unfortunately, no official launch date has been announced for either model yet.
